Home Improvement License Application
Please submit $100.00 check made out to the Town of Shelter Island. You must also submit your Liability Accord Certificate with the Town of Shelter Island as the certificate holder and your Workman’s Comp Certificate if applicable. If you do not have Workman’s Comp. then you will need to submit an exemption Form-CE-200.

Homeowner Annual Irrigation Permit Application
Grandfathered Systems: Applications must be submitted in completion - pages 1-2 by homeowner and page 3 by the Contractor with a check for $250.00 made out to the Town of Shelter Island. All cistern owners who previously got a permit in 2015 may renew with water receipts and the application (pages 1-2 and 3 filled out by contractor) with a check for $50.00 for 2016 and every year after. If you did not get a permit in 2015 you will pay a first time fee of $250.00. Any questions call 631-749-0772.
