Lifeguards Wanted for the Town of Shelter Island for the Summer of 2026 !
The Town of Shelter Island is hiring responsible, energetic lifeguards to join our team this season.
Starting pay is $25.00 an hour
Full-time and part-time positions available
- Applicants must be 16 Years of Age or older
- Must be Waterfront/Stillwater Lifeguard Certified
- CPR/AED Certification required
Certification and recertification courses offered from February thru June 2026 !
Certification Opportunity: The town will cover the cost of certification and recertification classes for candidates who commit to working the summer season
