Public Announcement

The Town hereby advises residents that effective immediately, Channel 22 has been reassigned and will now be available on Channel 1310.

Residents who regularly access programming and announcements on Channel 22 are requested to tune in to Channel 1310 to continue receiving official broadcasts without interruption.

We appreciate the public’s cooperation and attention to this change.

Overview

IT & Media Department is in charge of administrating and maintenance of all computer systems such as the internal network, servers, workstations, security services, backups, phones, and security cameras. 

The IT & Media Department is also responsible for the administration of the town website, Channel 1310, and Social Media (Facebook, YouTube and Instagram). 

Channel 1310 provides educational and government-related television to Shelter Island residents. Broadcasting is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week online on YouTube and though Channel 1310. Programs include the proceedings of municipal boards and committees and Board of Education.
